Our Goals

  1. Upholding a culture of Human Rights and Good Governance in our community
  2. Promotion of the Arts and Crafts sector of Bangladesh through facilitating the development of small enterprises with an aim to generate sustainable self-employment and income opportunities for underprivileged rural and urban artisan communities through Fair Trade
  3. Business Development Service-BDS for small and marginal agricultural producer communities for their sustainable income and employment opportunities
  4. Elimination of existing gender discrimination and to protect women against all kinds of violence
  5. To combat the adverse impact of climate change in our country and to promote adaptation technologies
  6. Improving Basic Service provision by ensuring the accountability and transparency of Basic Service providing organizations

DEW Mission

DEW is dedicated to improving livelihoods security of the poor segments of the society in Bangladesh through increasing their participation (particularly women) in small scale economic activities by creating the provision of a range of business and life skills for them.
